Jeannie Jaworski
Director of International Affairs
Jeannie Jaworski serves as the Director of International Affairs at Nova Southeastern University. In this role she oversees the Office of International Students and Scholars, the Office of Education Abroad, and coordinates the Razor’s Edge Global Scholars program. Jeannie also serves as an adjunct faculty member, teaching in the First Year Experience program and a Diversity and Multiculturalism Seminar in the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education. Jeannie has a Master of Education from Carroll University (Waukesha, WI) and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish from the University of Iowa (Iowa City, IA). Her work has spanned the field of international education, including oversight of instiutitonal international recruitment and admissions, leadership for an Intensive English Language program, and research on intercultural communication skill development in required study away experiences. Jeannie is passionate about access, inclusion, diversity and justice issues - both on campus and in her local, national, and global communities. Jeannie’s personal and professional travels have taken her to 25 countries, including undergraduate study abroad experiences in Mexico and India. She is a scuba diver and an animal lover who lives by the motto, “do good and good will come.”
