Gabriela joined Nova Southeastern University in the beginning of 2022 and serves as an International Student Advisor at the Office of International Affairs. She holds a Master of Arts in Luso-Brazilian Literature from Brigham Young University and has taught English as a second language and Portuguese in both private and group settings, from beginner to advanced levels. Her passion for international education has ultimately led her to her current role where she interacts with students on a daily basis to help them succeed.

Gabriela was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and has resided in the USA for 10+ years. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young girls, traveling, and dancing.
