Jacquelyn Browne Ph.D., LCSW, is the Director of Nova Southeastern University's Certificate and Master of Arts in Gerontology program. Dr. Browne developed this program with a humanistic emphasis. Her research interests are in aging and resilience. Dr. Browne has been the recipient of the NSU Quality of Life grants, the lead investigator for the Community Foundation of Broward's Re-engagement for Good Initiative, and served as a lead faculty in NSU's federally funded Geriatric Education Center grant. In addition, Dr. Browne frequently presents at workshops, conferences, and in the community to raise awareness of the potential of individuals and individuals. She maintains a private practice in Palm Beach Gardens.
