The IRS requires students to opt in to receiving their 1098-T form electronically. Form 1098-T is issued each year in late January and contains information on qualified tuition and related expenses you paid during the preceding calendar year (January 1-December 31). The form is for informational purposes only and serves to alert you that you may be eligible for educational tax credits. For more information, visit the IRS website at www.irs.gov or consult your tax specialist.
