NSU Researchers Use Racing Simulators to Help Veterans

NSU College of Psychology’s Center for Research and Treatment (CRT) uses racing simulators to help military veterans learn techniques to deal with symptoms of traumatic experiences and maladaptive coping mechanisms. By coaching military veterans through simulated high-stress scenarios in a safe environment, CRT researchers teach strategies that help regulate emotions in real-life situations.
