Hi! My name is Tiffany Abouezzi, and I am a biology major with a business minor in the Dual D.O. Program. This year I will be tutoring General Chemistry 1+2, Organic Chemistry 1+2, and various math classes up to Calculus. I chose to tutor this year because I believe having tutoring options readily available in college is essential for success. In addition, I want to help others better understand their content and succeed in their courses. On-campus I am involved in Greek Life, and I am a member of the pre-med society. In addition to this, I am also a Lab Assistant for General Chemistry

Hi! My name is Ria Bajaria and I'm a Math and Science tutor. I'm a biology major on the pre-medical track. I chose to tutor because I recognize the importance of students helping students! I think tutoring is a great way to get extra help outside of the classroom and to make connections! I'm part of Pre-SOMA Club on campus here at Nova. My all-time favorite song is Ordinary Life by the Weeknd. I love to swim and my favorite place I've ever vacationed is Nairobi, Kenya.
Hey! My name is Jay and I’m a senior chemistry major from Bermuda with minors in Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pre-Health. I am also in the Dual Admission PharmD program and an International Shark Mentor. Some of the clubs/orgs that I’m involved with on campus include Caribbean Student Association (CSA), Pre-Pharmacy Society and Chemistry Club. I chose to tutor because I have a passion for teaching, and I enjoy working with students to find ways to better enhance their knowledge while helping them improve in their academics. I had great teachers who clarified different course material in various subjects for me when I didn’t quite understand certain concepts, and I’d like to be that person to my fellow peers here at NSU and assist them in any way I can.
Hi everyone! My name is Omar El Hamdani, and I am an international student and a Junior double majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science! I will be a tutor for CSIS and MATH! I am quite excited to be of assistance to you all! I am part of the SAGE club, as well as the Canta Siempre club. A fun fact about me would be that ever since I was little, I have always had the dream of becoming an inventor of sorts. As a result of my dream, I have grown to become extremely curious about the most intricate of details and mechanisms, eventually leading to my enjoyment of maths, as well as discovery of computing and programming. Helping my peers improve academically has always been a passion of mine! Nothing feels better than seeing someone overcome their difficulties after assisting them. I have always wanted an opportunity to share my academic experiences and help my peers, as such I decided to become a tutor! I can't wait to be of help to you all!
Hi! My name is Anna Engelhardt. My major is secondary biology education and I will be tutoring biology this semester! I chose to tutor as part of my Razors Edge Shark Teach program, as well as to gain more knowledge for my future career in teaching and tutoring. Hello! My name is Roberto Fileni, but most people call me Robby. I'm a sophomore majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Philosophy. I'm also a player for the NSU eSports team. I can tutor a wide variety of general subjects from Calculus to Physics to Chemistry; however, I specifically offer tutoring in Neuroscience and Neuroanatomy. I decided to start tutoring because I noticed that many students find learning boring. To many students, studying for math and science is a matter of memorizing arbitrary lists of facts, formulas, and definitions, a task everyone finds cumbersome. However, I want to show students that math and science can be so much more. My goal is to show students that every piece of information makes sense. Ever wonder why a formula works? Or how a certain process was discovered? Or why a scientific convention is used? I want to be the person to answer these critical questions so that every step of the learning process is fun and intuitive. If I can make at least one student go "Ohhh so that's why!" my job as a tutor is complete.
Hi! My name is Annie, and I’m a junior, a finance major/pre med, and excited to be returning as a senior tutor this year! My Myers-Briggs personality type is ENFJ and I’m an Enneagram Type 2. In my free time I love reading, working out, cooking/baking, trying new coffee shops, going on hiking trips, and spending quality time with friends.
