On Feb. 5, 2019, Diversity Dialogues featured the topic "Black Leaders Who Have Inspired Us" with Adrian N. Carter and Ghenete "G" Wright Muir. The event took place in the Carl DeSantis Building on the Fort Lauderdale/Davie Campus.
Adrian N. Carter is a conflict resolution expert helping individuals and corporations understand and solve problems by serving as a leadership development trainer and life & relationship building coach. He has been impacting organizations and institutions of higher education for over 16 years with his dynamic and progressive ability to lead, resolve conflict, and create solutions -- making him a sought after keynote speaker and leadership development trainer.
Ghenete “G” Wright Muir is an attorney, writer and LGBT+ advocate. As part of her advocacy work she produces “Thou Art Woman” -- a visual and performing art series celebrating LGBTQ women and allies. G also serves on the American Bar Association (ABA) Commission on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and as Co-Chair of the ABA LGBT+ Forum. Now fully vocal and visible as a gender non-conforming lesbian, G shares her LGBT+ life as @verygtv on Facebook and Instagram and blogs at www.verygtv.com.
