Configuring Your Outlook Mac for NSU SharkMail

Due to the different versions of Microsoft Outlook, some steps may be different for some users. If you are not sure about your options, or encounter any concerns while setting up your email account, you can always contact the NSU Help Desk for assistance at:

The steps in this page describe how to set up your NSU email account on a Mac computer with Microsoft Outlook 2016: 

  1. With Microsoft Outlook already open click Tools from the Outlook menu bar and select Accounts…

  2. In the Accounts window click Exchange or Office 365.

  3. Enter your complete NSU email address. Then in the User name box type again your complete NSU email address and your SharkLink password in the Password box. Click Add Account.

  4. If you obtain this message, check the box for Always use my response for this server. Click Allow to continue.

  5. You will see the account in the left pane. You can edit the Account description and Full name. Then you can close the window.

  6. You can go back to Outlook and access the inbox for your emails.
