NSU Account Information

Your SharkLink ID is created automatically when you become a new student, faculty, or staff member of NSU. Your NSU SharkLink ID is your "NSU user". Your NSU email is your SharkLink ID with the @mynsu.nova.edu/@nova.edu after at the end.

Enabling security access to various other NSU web applications.

Your SharkLink ID is created automatically upon acceptance at NSU. Your SharkLink ID also known as the “username” which can be used to access:

• library
• wireless access—1NSU
• and other NSU web applications and portals

If you are a current student who has misplaced your NSU ID or a new student that has never accessed the system before, please go to to retrieve your NSU ID online.

"User" is the first part of your NSU email address only, in the below samples:
Faculty/Staff—user@nova.edu
Students—user@mynsu.nova.edu

After setting up new password, please wait three minutes for the password to sync with systems.

To set up your account, passwords require the following:

1. A password not used in the past.
2. Minimum of 8 characters in length.
3. Maximum of 100 characters.
4. Contain a mix of
   1. uppercase letters
   2. lowercase letters
   3. numeric digits
   4. at least 1 special character(s) from these options: '-!#$%&()*,./:;?@[]^_`{|}~+<=>
5. Can not contain
   1. any part of name
   2. email
   3. SSN
6. To be created two days after acceptance letter/deposit.
