Don't Miss Our Monthly Highlights

Mental Health Awareness Month: Let's prioritize mental well-being! Join us in supporting initiatives like the JED Campus Initiatives for Student Mental Health and the STRIVE program for NSU employees, fostering a supportive environment for all. 

Jewish American Heritage: Reflect on history and resilience with the captivating "Holocaust by Bullets" Exhibit, ending on May 5th. Let's honor and remember the strength and contributions of Jewish Americans.

Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month: Embrace the vibrant culture of Asia! Experience the beauty and grace of "Dancing Through India" as we celebrate the richness of AAPI heritage.

May 5 - MMIWG Day: Stand in solidarity! Let's raise awareness and demand justice for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. It's a day to honor their lives and advocate for change.

May 6 - Diversity Roundtable Discussion (DRDs): Held the first Monday of the Month from 12:05-12:55 p.m. This month's discussion will focus on Mental Health Awareness.  

May 15 - Discover the Hero of a Thousand Faces Project: This month, our hero is Cilk McSweeney, coach, author, and spiritual leader, who speaks about knowing your purpose and what it takes to move forward. This project explores diverse narratives shaping the perception of Black men. Join us to uncover untold stories and celebrate the impactful contributions of Black men from various backgrounds.

We welcome events that respect different cultures and social backgrounds, including race, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, ability, religion, and age. To be eligible for selection, the events must meet the following criteria:  
1) promote belonging, 2) allow for equity, 3) showcase diversity, and 4) provide an inclusive environment.
