Community Partner Participation
Local businesses and organizations can be a part of NSU CommunityFest by donating food or raffle prizes, or by becoming an underwriter by sponsoring a particular aspect of the event.
Sponsorship Opportunities
Community Partners can underwrite items and/or events for the NSU CommunityFest. They may also give outright contributions toward the event, as well as donate prizes for drawings to be held throughout the event. Please refer to Sponsorship Agreement Form for a list of items to underwrite or for more information on outright contributions. If you would like to underwrite an item that we did not include in the form or would like to know what still is available, please contact us.
Sponsorship Levels include:
- Mako Shark Sponsor – $2,500 and above including in-kind donations
- Recognition in CommunityFest program
- Recognition on CommunityFest Website
- Recognition throughout CommunityFest Event
- Booth at CommunityFest
- Tabling at SEA Thursday prior to CommunityFest
- Business’ banner hung in the Don Taft University Center one week prior to CommunityFest
- Silver Sponsor – $1,000-$2499 including in-kind donations
- Recognition in CommunityFest program
- Recognition on CommunityFest Website
- Booth at CommunityFest
- Business’ banner hung in the Don Taft University Center one week before CommunityFest
- Blue Sponsor – $250-$999 including in-kind donations
- Recognition in CommunityFest program
- Recognition on CommunityFest Website
- Booth at CommunityFest
Restaurants
Restaurants have the perfect opportunity to showcase their product at NSU CommunityFest 2013. In addition, those who donate food will also be guaranteed food purchases for at least half of their donations (up to $2,000). Such sponsors are asked to complete the Restaurant Commitment Form.
Activity Booths
Mako, Silver, and Blue Sponsors are invited to host activity booths at NSU CommunityFest. Since the university’s non-solicitation policy generally does not allow businesses to come onto campus to advertise, this is a perfect opportunity for sponsoring businesses and organizations to put up a banner, bring their mascot, and/or hand out flyers or coupons at their booth. If you are such a sponsor and are interested in hosting such a booth, please complete the Sponsorship Agreement by February 1st.
Cancellation
Should you no longer be able to participate, please take note of the following dates:
- Cancel booth before February 1st : No fee
- Cancel booth between February 2nd – February 8th : $50 Charge
- Do not attend event : $250 Charge
