University Closures

At NSU, safety is our #1 concern. Given that Hurricane Irma is a dangerous hurricane projected to threaten Florida, and in an abundance of caution, NSU announces that all classes at all campuses will be canceled, effective 8 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2017. This includes all NSU regional campuses and sites, NSU University School, Mailman Segal Center, and the Baudhuin School.

All NSU faculty and staff members should report to work according to their normal schedules on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, to help the university prepare for closure.

NSU Clinics and the NSU Pharmacy will also remain open on Wednesday.

Nova Southeastern University will close Thursday, September 7, until further notice. We will be updating students, faculty and staff members once Hurricane Irma has passed and is no longer a threat to NSU's campuses.

Information will also be available on the NSU weather hotline 800-256-5065 or 954-262-7300. If you need to review the NSU emergency procedures they are available on the NSU Public Safety web site.
