The past few months have been very busy and rewarding for
members of the OI
2
T and Health Care Security teams as far as
training and certification goes.
First, Marisol Suarez and Gisandre (Gigi) Mardy from our new
Health Care security team have both passed the FairWarning
Ready Certified Professional certification. The training program
leading to this certification provides a comprehensive, practical
curriculum for implementing affordable and wide-scale privacy
auditing including the remediation processes surrounding
breach detection.
Second, Pedro Cartagena has attained the AccessData Certified
Examiner (ACE) certification. The ACE credential demonstrates
proficiency with the AccessData Forensic Toolkit (FTK).
And last but certainly not least, John Gusmano has attained
the CompTia Security+ certification. Security+ is a certification
dealing with computer security topics, such as cryptography
and access control, as well as business-related topics, such as
disaster recovery and risk management.
