Students encounter a variety of new experiences while studying for a degree in higher education. These new experiences and opportunities, however, may present challenges that can generate issues between two people or groups of people. If these conflicts aren't addressed, these problems can damage relationships, friendships and opportunities. Nova Southestern University's Student Mediation Services (SMS) offer dispute- and conflict-resolution assistance for a variety of situations including individual, interpersonal, roommates, and work groups issues as well as problems arising in student clubs and organizations.
