Campus Locations

Main Campus, Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Our 300-acre main campus in Fort Lauderdale-Davie consists of our administrative offices and an overwhelming majority of our various academic programs at Nova Southeastern University. This location houses  disciplines that include the health professions, the arts, humanities, computer sciences, law, psychological  studies, business and entrepreneurship, early childhood studies, and a PreK-12 school.

The main campus is also home to the Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center, the largest  library in the state, the massive Don Taft University Center that houses our student union and recreational areas, University Park Plaza, the NFL Miami Dolphins Training Facility, and our  general-purpose athletic fields and NCAA-qualifying soccer and baseball fields.

In addition, seven residence halls on the main campus serve undergraduate and graduate student living needs.

East Campus, Fort Lauderdale, Florida

The east campus is located in Fort Lauderdale, six miles from the main campus. The campus is located on 10 acres and has eight buildings that provide 104,000 square feet of office and classroom space. These facilities house the Transitional Use Program, the U.S. Geological Survey offices, the Florida Integrated Science Center for Water and Restoration Studies at NSU, and Alumni Hall.

Oceanographic Center Campus, Dania Beach, Florida

The Oceanographic Center occupies 10 acres adjacent to John U. Lloyd State Park at Port Everglades, just outside of Fort Lauderdale in Dania Beach. The center’s facilities are composed of three permanent buildings encompassing almost 27,000 square feet of office, classroom, library, and laboratory space. These are supplemented by two modular buildings. The center’s proximity to the ocean is ideal for launching field studies.

North Miami Beach Campus, North Miami Beach, Florida

NSU’s 18-acre North Miami Beach campus is home to the: Fischler School of Education and Human Services; dental medicine, family medicine, and optometry clinics operated by the Health Professions Division; Crayons to Computers, a free store for teachers; and the South Florida School Choice Resource Center. Overall, the facility includes four buildings with a combined area of 266,500 square feet.
