Any mail traveling between one department to an another must be enclosed in a reusable intercampus envelope which can be handwritten or addressed using labels. Please minimize the use of any other envelopes.
For the Mail Center to sort interoffice mail addressed to the departments correctly and efficiently, we would like faculty and staff to follow the below criteria.
- List the individual's name and department code clearly and legibly.
(Note: Remember to block out previous address and any others that might halt the delivery of your mail)
- Highlighting the individual's name and department will also assist in the delivery process.
We are not responsible if the interoffice envelope contains cash or loose change. It will be returned to the sending department. Interoffice envelopes will be returned if the department name is not listed and the individual's name is not found. Any of the above will delay the progress of your interoffice mail to its destination.
