Testing Center

The Testing Center assists professors in all aspects of test construction, analysis, and grading. The Testing Center copies exams, maintains computerized databases of questions, and can generate tests in multiple versions. They score and rescore exams to instructors' specifications and maintain records of students' responses. They provide test analyses including item analysis, histograms, and class means and medians either by assignment or course.

The Testing Center produces reports of students' grades in a variety of formats--in alphabetical order, in score order, in order by token ID (for posting), and exported to Excel if an instructor wants an electronic version for himself or herself. They maintain course gradebooks and can manipulate class grades in a variety of ways: dropping lowest scores, excusing absences, curving scores.
