Undergraduate Students

Financial aid awards offered to eligible undergraduate students at NSU may consist of a combination of grants, scholarships, student employment, and loans. Grants and scholarships are considered "gift-aid" and generally do not have to be repaid, although certain exceptions apply. Student employment and loans are considered "self-help aid" because you must take on additional responsibilities for receiving this type of aid. Student employment requires you to work in exchange for a paycheck, and loans always need to be repaid with interest.

Did You Know?

More than 80 percent of NSU students rely on some level of scholarships, grants, loans, or student employment opportunity.
