Division of Research (DoR)
Division of Research and Economic Development (DoR) supports NSU’s innovative faculty within its colleges, centers and institutes in the development of their ideas, discoveries, and technologies. DoR is the focal point for building the connections, resources, and entrepreneurial energy for the commercialization of NSU’s research activities.

External Funding Recognition
Every Fall, DoR has the distinct honor of recognizing NSU faculty, staff, and students for their exceptional efforts in being recipients of externally sponsored funding. For fiscal year 2021, we honor 128 recipients who through great efforts and success received approximately $139.8 million of funding. DoR is pleased to recognize the achievements of these individuals through virtual means once again. We encourage you to explore the video and other materials listed below to get to know our honorees and their accomplishments. In addition, honorees will receive their customized commemorative plaque. Plaques will be hand-delivered to each respective College Dean for further distribution. If you would like to stop by the DoR offices located in the Leo Goodwin Sr. Hall building to collect your plaque, please email us at EFRR@nova.edu no later than November 30th, 2021.

Honoree Plaque Distribution
Honorees are welcome to stop by the Center for Collaborative Research Building (CCR) during any of the below dates and times to pick up your honoree plaque. Please drive up to the front of the CCR building in the traffic circle and do not exit your car. Please wear your face covering or mask. A staff member will be set up near the front door and will bring your plaque to your car.
