We know the whole family often shares in a student's transition to NSU, so orientation benefits parents, guardians, and family members as well. We offer orientation for family and guests to help answer questions and concerns from your point of view.
Even if you're already familiar with campus, our program includes a series of special presentations designed to give you additional information about the university and its resources. It also offers insight into the adjustments you and your student will face during the next few years. Families also have the opportunity to talk with university administrators, faculty members, and orientation leaders.
Orientation is the first step in an incoming student's transition to NSU so we welcome and encourage you to join us. Orientation is free to attend for family and guests, however, signing up by your student is required and there is a maximum of two attendees per student.
