Commuter Involvement
The Office of Orientation and Commuter Involvement is responsible for supporting the connection of commuter students to university resources. The connection and engagement of commuter students takes place through direct programming and outreach to make commuter students aware of campus resources to further ensure their success, as well as increase their sense of belonging to the University.
Our office provides services and support to students including connecting students to leadership opportunities on campus, academic resources and local community information. Commuter students interested in getting involved in campus activities, making connections to their Commuter Student Representative of the Undergraduate Student Government Association, or seeking membership in the Commuter Student Organization will find all the information they need at our office! The Office of Orientation and Commuter Involvement continually strives to be a known advocate for all commuter students on campus.
We look forward to serving you and invite you to stop by our office in the Rosenthal Student Center, Room 104 or you can reach us at commuter@nova.edu!
Commuter Student Organization
CSO was created to advocate for non-residential students, promoting awareness of commuter issues in and around Nova Southeastern University. The CSO is advised by the office of Orientation and Commuter Involvement to provide opportunities for commuter student involvement and development. The CSO strives to create a stronger relationship between NSU students and the local community through commuter events and community service commitments.
The CSO gives students an opportunity to get involved on campus! Members of CSO are invited to all Orientation and Commuter Involvement events to eat for free and join in games and activities with fellow commuters. By joining the CSO, students will receive exclusive commuter incentives with important dates and campus updates.
