NSU Student Organization Participation
Student organizations can participate by donating raffle prizes, becoming a sponsor, hosting an activity booth, and/or by volunteering to help organize the event.
Activity Booths
NSU CommunityFest is known for its student organization run activity booths. All organizations are invited to host activity booths at NSU CommunityFest. Organizations participating in the event may be eligible for up to $125 in reimbursement for their activity booth. Please see the Student Agreement under 'Participation Forms' for more information. Please submit booth contracts by January 23rd.
Organizations must submit original receipts along with the reimbursement request form for reimbursement no later than February 22 to Greissy Brito in ASA room 107.
Volunteering
Volunteers are needed in the organization and set up of NSU CommunityFest, including the day of the event. If you are interested, please click the following link: CommunityFest Volunteer Opportunity. Additionally, any organization whose members are volunteering at CommunityFest will receive Project Serve Points. For more information, please email the CommunityFest Committee.
Cancellation
Should you no longer be able to participate, please take note of the following dates:
- Cancel booth before January 23rd : No Fee
- Cancel booth between January 24th – February 1st : $50 Charge
- Cancel booth between February 2nd – February 8th : $75 Charge
- Do not attend event : $250 Charge
