About the Office
The Office of the President/CEO, under the leadership of George L. Hanbury II, Ph.D., is charged by the NSU Board of Trustees with overseeing the overall direction and management of all administrative and operational functions.
The President works with the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Deans, Vice Presidents, Associate Vice Presidents, and Executive Directors to improve the delivery of services to our students and faculty while creating efficiencies in order to maximize value and reduce costs.
The President/CEO in coordination with the Vice President of Finance and Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness, prepares the university budget and capital improvement respectively and introduces sound business practices and fiscal responsibility to achieve academic excellence while assisting the chancellor in carrying out the mission of the university as established by the board of trustees.
