Maintain diagnostic lens inventory and saleable products. Call patients as contact lens orders are received, sort lenses in appropriate storage trays. Log warranted credit using computer software after returning lenses to manufacturer; organize product and price books.

Responsible for the layout of the University-run newspaper. Job functions include but not limited to laying out stories and pictures. Qualifications: Undergraduate student at NSU and be, at minimum, junior level status. Perform multiple, non-technical tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills in other to meet changing job conditions. Ability to operate standard office equipment. Ability to utilize MS Office applications. Ability to perform standard record keeping. Must have Work Study.
Pay: $8.50/hr.
Hours: 20 hrs./week. Evenings and weekends may be required depending on events
Promote programs and services and provide support for activities and events. Provide for the safety of the building, its users and staff by enforcing University Center (UC) and University policies. Monitor potential safety/liability problems and assisting guests to meet their needs while using facilities. Act as a liaison to the UC janitorial staff to ensure a clean environment for guests. Perform general maintenance and upkeep of the UC equipment (easels, rental machines, tables, chairs, A/V equipment, etc.) Maintain inventory of appropriate supplies and stored items. Post signs, daily schedules and ensure buildings are opened appropriately.
Qualifications: Undergraduate student at NSU. Minimum GPA of 2.5 each semester and cumulatively, with full time enrollment. Remain in good standing, academically and judicially. Must know, support, implement, and abide by University policies and regulations. Ability to lift and move 20 pounds. Work well in teams and with student groups. Communicate effectively. Detail oriented and have strong problem solving abilities. Strong work ethic. Must have Federal Work Study.
Pay: $9.00/hr.
Hours: 20-25 hrs./week
Monitor computer functionality, including projectors, Powerpoint, and recordings. Assist students with PC hardware, and maintain office supplies. Record presentations as requested.
Qualifications: Must have knowledge of computer software and hardware, including Windows OS. Must have Federal Work Study
Pay: $10.00/hr.
Hours: 20-25 hrs./week
Data entry, scanning, copying, maintaining calendar of events (i.e. committee meetings, project deadlines, etc.), answering telephone, prepare written correspondence, create charts, graphs and tables, shipping, file management, reserve conference/meeting rooms, assist with special evens, welcome visitors and offer refreshments, submit requests for office supplies. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Must have strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe. Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Must possess strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Preferred skills: knowledge of SPSS and Harvard Graphics software. Must have Federal Work Study.
