Answering switchboard, taking reservations, checking people in/out, answering questions, giving directions and other duties related to guest services and as assigned.

Responsible, friendly, energetic, creative, and outgoing individuals to supervise and interact with children (K-8) including the ability to prepare and plan age appropriate activities for the children within the program. Ensure the safety of the children as they take them to scheduled activities.

Must have pervious experience working with children ages 5-13 as well as possessing childcare and development certification or be enrolled in a childcare development 45 hour course within 90 days of hire. Provide environmental field sampling support services. Environmental field technician will be responsible for investigating pollution sources, performing field laboratory tests, taking samples of water and soil, preparing reports and communicating findings with clients. They will use equipment, such as air sampling monitors, water pumps and flame ionization detectors, sampling kits, to analyze and test specific areas for pollution sources. Environmental field technician will prepare field reports of recorded data, analyze, prepare and present reports to other staff members and clients to develop program designed to monitor and assess environmental hazards and pollutions.

This is a non-exempt position, which is responsible for water safety work, providing the safest possible conditions for swimming pool patrons, for the convenience and enjoyment of patrons. The work involves the prompt performance of emergency lifesaving and first aid tasks as occasions require. May be required to instruct Red Cross swimming classes, and the care and maintenance of all equipment, pool deck, swimming pool and locker room facilities. The employee works under immediate supervision, exercising some initiative and independent judgment.
QUALIFICATIONS: Current Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (W.S.I.) Certification or ability to obtain same as soon as possible. Current Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification.
