Dateline Health is NSU's public service television show hosted by Fred Lippman, R.Ph., Ed.D, Chancellor Emeritus of NSU Health Professions Division. Dateline Health is a 30-minute program dedicated to promoting the community's overall health and well-being covering a wide range of contemporary health care issues through interviews with health care experts, researchers, and policymakers.

Airing on Broward Education Communication Network (BECON-TV), via channel 63, COMCAST, AT&T U-verse, various cable providers, Direct TV, and Dish Network satellite providers seven days a week throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.  With expanded online access through YouTube, Dateline Health reaches viewers beyond the community.

Dateline Health episode 512 “Corona Virus Update” was honored with the People’s Telly GOLD. The Telly Awards is the premier award honoring video and television across all screens. Established in 1979, The Telly Awards receives over 13,000 entries and honors the very best film & video productions, groundbreaking online video content, and outstanding local, regional, & cable TV commercials and programs. It is a tremendous achievement to be selected for recognition.

Dateline Health is produced by the Health Professions Division and is recorded on the main campus at the NSU studio. For over 20 consecutive years, NSU has been delivering award-winning episodes to educate and inform the community. Dateline Health celebrated its 500th episode in August 2019 with a tribute to the History of Nova Southeastern University.
