Transition
scheduled to occur during the last week of

Coming this summer, NSU student email will be transitioned
from Microsoft Live@edu to Microsoft Office 365.
Each NSU student will have more email space (25GB),
the convenience of real time collaboration, and the
ability to share and edit documents from desktop PCs,
Mac or mobile devices.
WHAT CHANGES SHOULD STUDENTS
EXPECT?
Email
: All existing student email in Live@edu will
be moved to Office 365. Students will sign in at the
new Microsoft Office 365 website and continue to use
Microsoft Outlook Web App or Microsoft Outlook to view
and send email.
SkyDrive
: Students will continue to have access
to their SkyDrive files accessible via their Live@edu
account.
SharkLink
: The SharkLink student email icon will link
to Office 365 instead of Live@edu.
Accounts
: Student account usernames and
passwords for Live@edu and Office 365 will remain the
same.
WHAT NEW FEATURES ARE AVAILABLE
IN OFFICE 365?
More Storage
: Student mailbox capacity is increased
to 25GB in Office 365.
File sharing
: Students may use Microsoft SharePoint
Online for sharing files and Office Web Apps for creating
and reading documents.
Instant messaging and online meetings
:
Students may use Microsoft Lync Online for both instant
messaging and online meetings.
