Summer Orientation
NSU's orientation programs support the academic, social, and personal growth of each student. These programs include Freshman, Transfer, and Career Development Student Orientation.
The Office of New Student Orientation provides each student with a comprehensive program to suit his or her unique needs.
Day or evening students attending college for the first time attend our two-day, overnight freshman orientation program. Transfer students with more than 24 college credits are required to attend our one-day transfer orientation. Evening/Career Development students attend our Career Development orientation. A separate program for parents and family of new students is also offered during the first day of each freshman orientation session.
