Commuter Student Involvement

Getting Involved

Commuter Student Organization

The Commuter Student Organization is the official voice of commuter students. We work towards assisting commuting students with their adjustment to the university environment, and serve as an informational source to those that do not live on campus. For more information or to join our next meeting, e-mail the Commuter Student Organization at cso@nova.edu.  Information is also available on the CSO Bulletin Board #12 on the Second Floor of the Parker Building.   To view a list of other student organizations at NSU, click here.

Contact Your Commuter Student Senator

As an elected member of the NSU Student Government Association, this person works with commuting students to make their voices heard.  To contact your commuter student senator email commuter@nova.edu.

Commuter Assistants

Commuter Assistants help commuter students become acquainted and involved in the NSU community. Just as Resident Assistants help residential students transition to college life, Commuter Assistants serve as links for commuters to connect to academic resources and social activities at NSU. If you are a commuter interested in learning more about what it means to be an NSU Shark, please email our commuter assistants at commuter@nova.edu.
