Mission
New Student Orientation provides the foundation for students’ NSU experience; students will receive information about academic programs, campus resources and student life through a series of workshop presentations and shared learning experience programs. New Student Orientation serves students transitioning from high school to college, between colleges and/or from the workplace back into the classroom, as well as being a resource for parents and families of NSU students.
Departmental Contribution to Mission of Nova Southeastern University
The Office of New Student Orientation directly contributes to the mission of NSU by introducing students to the rich learning resources available to them, both on and off campus. We bring together students, faculty and staff to enhance the opportunity for student success, as well as make new students feel a part of the overall NSU community.
