Mission
The mission of the Office of Quality Assessment for Institutional and Community Engagement (ICE) is to assist NSU leadership, faculty, administration and staff in ensuring institutional effectiveness through the QEP, Campus Engagement, Carnegie Foundation for Community Engagement and other university-wide initiatives.
Purpose
The purpose of the Office of Quality Assessment for Institutional and Community Engagement (ICE) is to facilitate, coordinate, and document implementation of NSU’s Quality Enhancement and Campus Engagement plans, and direct the systematic, integrated processes through which they are assessed.
Functions
The university community is served through the following functions:
- Oversee and coordinate the implementation and assessment of the university’s QEP
- Manage, coordinate and facilitate the annual “I Believe in NSU” assessment
- Provide consultation, coordination and resources to facilitate community engagement database information and initiatives
- Produce a variety of documents related to the QEP, the Campus Engagement plans and initiatives and the Carnegie Foundation for community engagement
