Program Admission Criteria

• 14 years or older
• Not in need of detoxification or having withdrawal symptoms
• No current or recent injection drug use
• Not taking lithium or antipsychotic drugs
• Not homeless

• Strengthen their motivation and commitment to change
• Use their strengths and resources to solve their problems
• Learn problem solving skills that can be applied to other situations
• Develop a sense of self-reliance

What HLGSC Includes

The Program Includes

• Assessment and treatment
• Individual sessions
• Setting goals and monitoring results
• Identifying high risk situations and developing treatment strategies
• Readings and homework
• Aftercare by phone after the last session
• Services are available in English and Spanish
• A sliding fee scale is available
