Our New Location – Coming Fall 2019

Thanks to the generosity of the Drs. Kiran C. and Pallavi Patel Family Foundation, NSU’s Tampa Bay Regional Campus will have a new home in Clearwater, FL. The new campus features a 325,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility with waterfront views, expansive common areas, a two-story fitness center, and more. The campus also includes a new branch site for the university’s Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. All existing programs and services will migrate to this new location before the start of the Fall 2019 semester.

NSU’s Tampa Bay Regional Campus has approximately 125 faculty and staff members.

The site offers bachelor’s degrees in:

The Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine has been accredited by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation (COCA) of the American Osteopathic Association. This body is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as the accrediting agency for colleges educating osteopathic physicians.

NSU is pending approval of its additional campus in Tampa Bay. With this approval, students will train in the Tampa Bay area.

September 2017
Announcement – The Drs. Kiran C. and Pallavi Patel Family Foundation made a $150 million investment in real estate and facilities to build a new campus on a 27-acre site in Clearwater, FL.
March 7, 2018
Groundbreaking – More than 300 people joined NSU officials and representatives of the Patel Family Foundation as they broke ground on the new Tampa Bay Regional Campus.
November 19, 2018
Topping off – The last beam is placed atop NSU’s new Tampa Bay Regional Campus during construction.
January 17, 2019
Road renamed – The Clearwater City Council issued a resolution to change the name of Damascus Road to Dr. Kiran C. Patel Boulevard. The road runs alongside the new NSU Tampa Bay Regional Campus.
