ATTENDANCE & ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who were not invited to last year’s ceremony and have achieved degree
conferral since last year’s commencement exercises and prior to this year’s ceremony dates
are automatically invited to participate. Eac etermines its participation
requirements. When in doubt, check with your program office or visit its commencement
Web site for clarification on the requirements that must be met in order to be invited.

If you are a commencement candidate who has a special story to tell—exciting plans after
graduation, or a unique personal, academic, or business background—we would like to hear
from you. The NSU Office of University Relations is collecting the most compelling stories

SPECIAL NEEDS
We encourage candidates who need disability accommodations to notify the
t (954) 262-7185 at least two weeks in advance of the event.
The Arena at the Don Taft University Center (UC) provides handicap accessible parking
spaces located on each level of the public parking garage and in a designated parking lot
located just east of the UC. Patrons using wheelchairs can enter and exit the building
through both the North and East Lobbies. There is an elevator located directly across from
the box office for convenient access to the arena entrance. All accessible seating is located
on the second floor of the arena.
INVITATIONS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
NSU Bookstore partners provide a wide selection of choices for invitations, announcements,
class rings, frames, etc. These vendors offer graduation packages specifically tailored for
