Candidates for admission must submit all of the
following by April 1:
• a completed application form along with a $50,
nonrefundable application fee (The application
period opens the first week of January and closes
April 1.)
• official transcripts of all undergraduate, graduate,
and professional coursework
• official scores from standardized tests such as the
MCAT or DAT, not more than three years old
• one letter of recommendation from a preprofessional
advisory committee, or if this does not exist, two
letters may be substituted from instructors who
can testify to the student’s characteristics, integrity,
application, and aptitude in science (If an applicant
has been in the work world for a considerable
period of time, two letters of recommendation from
employers may be substituted.)
