Required coursework for the first year consists
mainly of basic science classes taught in the Health
Professions Division such as anatomy, biochemistry,
physiology, and microbiology. The semester hour
requirements in the second year are similar to the first
year. The college reserves the right to vary these hours
within reason. In addition, all students are required to
attend a seminar course.
The Master of Biomedical Sciences (M.B.S.) degree
takes four semesters to complete. A minimum of
36 semester hours is required for completion of the
program. A time limit of five calendar years from the
date of matriculation is placed on coursework to be
credited to the degree.
