In order to be considered for admission into the

master’s degree program, the student must meet

the following requirements:

• a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited

college or university

• completion of a minimum of 8 semester hours

with a grade of

C

(2.0 GPA) or higher in each of

the following—biology with lab, general chemistry

with lab, organic chemistry with lab, and general

physics with lab

• completion of a minimum of 6 semester hours

in English, with at least 3 semester hours in

composition, with a grade of

C

(2.0 GPA) or higher

• completion of 3 semester hours with a grade of

C

(2.0 GPA) or higher in biochemistry

• a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

• scores from the Medical College Admission Test

(MCAT) or Dental Admission Test (DAT), not more

than three years old

Admissions Requirements
