Since 1999, Nova Southeastern University (NSU) has been offering world-class educational programs at its Tampa Bay Regional Campus. From nursing to education to health care sciences, NSU has been providing students with an edge so when they graduate, they are not only ready to enter the workplace, they are prepared to be the leaders of tomorrow. At NSU, students don’t just get an education, they prepare for real careers and real life.
Now, thanks to the generosity of the Drs. Kiran C. and Pallavi Patel Family Foundation, those efforts are being taken to the next level.
In 2017, the Foundation provided NSU with philanthropic gifts and financial commitments totaling approximately $225 million, which included $150 million in real estate and facility investment that resulted in the university’s new Tampa Bay Regional Campus location. This nearly 325,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is replacing NSU’s existing Tampa location and will continue to be the home of the university’s existing educational programs, but also includes a new branch site for the university’s Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine.
