The Office of Clinical Research provides a focal point for support services, tools, and communications related to project feasibility studies, contract review and negotiation, Institutional Review Board submissions, informed consent documents, central regulatory files, clinical research billing procedures, and compliance. NSU clinics—including medicine, dentistry, optometry, rehabilitation, pharmacy, hearing and balance, speech therapy, and autism and early childhood development—handle more than 250,000 patient visits annually. The university’s clinical research focuses on areas such as restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, cardiovascular diseases, medical devices, autism, substance abuse, and cancer.
