COLLEGE OF NURSING VOICES “Mercy Hospital has hired me as an ER nurse. They are in the process of becoming a trauma unit with helicopter Flight for Life care, and I’m on that team. I am also studying for separate board certifications to become a trauma-trained R.N. and a Flight for Life R.N. NSU has done a tremendous job in training me—and it all has to do with the professors.” —Katia Peña, B.S.N.
