126 NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY Degree Completions As of January 2023, nearly 211,000 people claim Nova Southeastern University as their alma mater. These graduates reside in all 50 states and in approximately 100 other countries. Many alumni are in highlevel positions in areas such as business, education, health care, law, politics, and public service. NSU graduates have served as presidents, chief executive officers, and vice presidents of leading corporations; college presidents and provosts; superintendents and assistant superintendents in some of the nation’s largest school districts; and as judges, state bar officials, state representatives, city and county commissioners, and mayors. From 2016– 2017 through 2021–2022, NSU has awarded between 6,081 and 6,845 degrees annually (Figure 13). NSU has increased the number of undergraduate degrees awarded by 439 (40 percent) between the 2018–2019 and 2021–2022 academic years (Figure 14).
