Grace Waldron Waldron “I chose to attend NSU due to its strong focus in undergraduate research and the Razor’s Edge program. My research journey began as an independent study student with NSU’s Rumbaugh-Goodwin Institute for Cancer Research (RGI), before transitioning into a new position as a Razor’s Edge field experience student. Involvement with Razor’s Edge and the RGI enabled me to attend various symposiums and a national conference. This expanded my network.” “Nova Southeastern University’s strong reputation in research excellence is supported by assets like the adjoining HCA Florida University Hospital, the university’s own premier research facilities, our innovative investigations and highly qualified faculty members, and all the students who are gaining an edge for their lives, careers, and communities through NSU. That said, offering improved infrastructure and resources to our faculty and student researchers amplifies their ability to conduct cutting-edge research, as well as to fund and disseminate their research to the world. Thus, a constant goal is to continue enhancing the student experience with research across the curricula, driving and facilitating faculty research across all colleges, and leveraging NSU research as the innovation engine for economic development across the state and nationally.” —KEN DAWSON-SCULLY, PH.D., ASSOCIATE PROVOST AND SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT FOR RESEARCH AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IMPRESSIONS
