Get Right to the Heart of the Matter

Cardiac sonography and vascular sonography are two of the most sought-after specialties in today’s allied health care field. You can gain a competitive advantage by studying both in NSU’s integrated program.

Your diagnosis can help save patient’s lives. As a cardiac sonographer, you’ll use ultrasound imaging to assess, detect, and diagnose diseases of the heart. Your skills in vascular sonography will allow you to identify anatomical and physiological changes caused by diseases of the arteries and veins.

Our curriculum gives you an edge with extensive, hands-on laboratory experience, including the use of a 3D echocardiography simulator (typically reserved for physician training). You’ll develop your skills through an intensive 12-month clinical externship. Your completed degree will ready you for national professional registry exams and empower you to excel in this competitive field.
