Job Hunting in Broward County and South Florida

The following websites provide information on current job openings as well as information on careers and job hunting in general. Most of these websites are specfic to Broward County and/or South Florida, though several also have national job listings.

Broward County Government
Broward County employs over 7,000 people in a variety of careers in approximately eighty divisions from Aviation to Parks & Recreation, Libraries and many more. The Broward County Careers website offers an online system which allows you to explore and apply for jobs within the Broward County government. Free registration is required to apply for employment.

Broward County Public Schools
The School Board of Broward County, Florida, employs over 36,800 full and part-time employees in a variety of jobs including teaching, custodial, food service, transportation, secretarial and many more. Job openings and requirements are listed on their website.

The CareerBuilder website allows you to search for South Florida jobs from the Sun-Sentinel classifieds plus job listings from career sites nationwide.
