Letter from the Editor
The Alvin Sherman Library is proud to house the Craig and Barbara Weiner Reflection and Resource Center, a place to learn about, and to contemplate, the horrendous acts that result from intolerance and hate. This month, we open the Exhibit: Women and Children of the Holocaust. Curated by Yad Vashem, this exhibit features three traveling exhibits: Spots of Light: To be a woman in the Holocaust, Stars without Heaven: Children in the Holocaust and the Auschwitz Album. Each of these, poignantly explore the travesty bestowed upon innocent people. As you visit the exhibit we encourage you to also visit the Reflection and Resource Center located on the Second Floor of the Library.
“Our greatest prayer is that we all learn from this horrific event in human history. We hope that this will inspire you to live honestly, live righteously, live respectfully, and treat all others in the same manner as we would like to be treated ourselves.” Craig and Barbara Weiner
