Summer Reading at the Alvin Sherman Library

Summer fun is in full swing at the Nova Southeastern University Alvin Sherman Library! We had more than 700 people attend last month's summer reading kick-off!  Remember, summer reading rewards isn't just for kids.  Adults and teens can sign up for reading rewards too!.

Jazz Series: Debbie Orta Jazz Quintet in Concert

Come in out of the summer heat and enjoy live jazz in the Gallery’s intimate, art-filled setting.

Debbie Orta’s unique vocals swing hard, with echoes of the past and present, honey-dipped with a soulful edge. She incorporates Latin and Brazilian jazz into her vast repertoire, and sings in English, Portuguese and Spanish, with easy rhythmic delivery and impeccable taste.
