Applications are accepted year-round, on a rolling basis. It is the applicant’s responsibility to have this coursework evaluated. An official course-by-course evaluation with a cumulative grade point average must be sent directly from the evaluation service. b. two evaluations/references (must be completed by individuals other than relatives) c. a writing sample submitted directly to NursingCAS, using APA 7th edition format- ting (including headings for each section), that includes the following information: • discussion of a problem or issue you see in your professional practice today that needs to be addressed from a D.N.P. perspective (250 words minimum) • discussion of your personal and professional goals related to the D.N.P. (250 words minimum) d. a résumé or curriculum vitae e. a copy of the student’s active, unencumbered United States R.N. license (must remain current in the state in which the student’s project is being conducted) f. official documentation of all supervised, postbaccalaureate practice hours from all regionally or internationally accredited schools attended Documentation must be from the program director of the previous postbaccalaure- ate program and include the following information on university letterhead: • date • university name and department • applicant’s full name • date and title of degree earned • specialization earned and total number of preceptor-verified clinical experience hours • program director’s signature • contact information for follow up, if necessary 3. Submit a supplemental NSU application online at apply.nova.edu.
