Dr. Sztam joined Nova Southeastern University in 2009. He was born in New York and earned his graduate degrees at Florida International University and his undergraduate degree at Florida Atlantic University. He has experience and expertise in several higher education domains such as: accreditation initiatives, student affairs, student services, curriculum development, ombudsman role, transfer articulation, graduate and undergraduate student and academic issues, graduate and undergraduate admissions, convocation, commencement, data analysis, enrollment projection, registration, recruitment, retention, advising, student behavior and academic misconduct, and peer mentor programs. Dr. Sztam oversees the Dual Admission Program, Presidential Scholars, and Razor’s Edge--in addition to the various other programs and initiatives housed within the department. He is currently also teaching in the College Student Affairs master’s program.
