Congratulations on your admission to Nova Southeastern University! It's an exciting time to be an NSU Shark. Among a record number of highly qualified applicants, you stood out. We are so excited to welcome you to the Shark Family.
Now that you’re admitted to NSU, what’s next? Carefully review the next steps checklist below to make it official and become a Shark at Nova Southeastern University. Please work closely with your Admission Officer along the way, who is your go-to resource for any questions you may have.
Early Decision Students - Please submit your enrollment deposit (see Step 1 below) no later than January 15.
Please confirm your enrollment, submit your FAFSA and activate your SharkLink (see Steps 1-3 below) before proceeding to Steps 4-7.

The first step to becoming an NSU Shark is confirming your enrollment and paying the non-refundable enrollment deposit (if applicable). Please choose your student type below and follow the next steps.
New Freshman or Transfer Students at Fort Lauderdale/Davie Campus
Fort Lauderdale/Davie Campus students must submit a $200 nonrefundable enrollment deposit.Early Decision Students - Submit your deposit no later than January 15.Early Action and Regular Decision Students - Submit your deposit as soon as you are ready, but no later than May 1.
Adult Non-Traditional Online and Off-Campus Students (Non HPD Related Majors)
Students planning on attending the adult non-traditional programs either online or off-campus (non-HPD related majors) need to inform their admissions counselor of their intent to enroll. No enrollment deposit is necessary at this time.
Health Profession Related Undergraduate Programs
Financial Aid is an important part of the admissions process. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and submit it online as soon as possible after October 1 to be considered for the maximum amount of financial aid.

As an admitted NSU student, you now have an NSU Online Identity. That includes:
SharkLink is NSU’s online portal. With a single username and password, students can easily access their NSU email, calendars, online groups, course registration, financial aid and much more.
Your NSU email within your SharkLink account is the university's main line of email communication regarding information about your financial aid package, campus housing and more. It is imperative you create your SharkLink account as soon as possible.Visit http://www.nova.edu/resources/nsuidentity to retrieve your Sharklink ID today.
Living on campus is part of the full college experience. The members of the Office of Residential Life and Housing team are dedicated to enhancing your educational experience by providing and facilitating an enjoyable on-campus living experience. Besides being within walking distance to all of your classes, living on campus provides students access to a variety of academic, cultural, social and recreational programs.
Housing contracts open in March. As an admitted student, to submit a housing contract, you must first submit your enrollment deposit. Visit the Main Campus Housing website for more information and to complete the Housing Contract.
You've been admitted, you've confirmed your enrollment (if applicable), and now you're ready to really start the transition to Nova Southeastern University as the newest member of our school of Sharks! At New Student Orientation you will have the opportunity to meet your academic advisor and fellow classmates, obtain your SharkCard ID, and learn more details about the campus and all of its activities.
New Student Orientation registration opens in April. As an admitted student, to sign up for New Student Orientation, you must first submit your enrollment deposit. Visit the Orientation website for more information about the New Student Orientation program and upcoming dates.

As a new student, you must schedule an appointment with your academic advisor. To do so, please contact the appropriate advising office below to make a phone or in-person appointment.
Office of Undergraduate Academic Advising: (All Non-Health Profession related majors)
Registration opens early April for all new freshmen and transfer students who have submitted their enrollment deposit.
Office of Academic Advising for Bachelor of Health and Science and Nursing majors should contact the College of Health Care Sciences program office for registration information:
If you were admitted to NSU using self-reported test scores or test scores submitted by your high school counselor on your transcripts, request your official SAT or ACT scores to be submitted to NSU directly from the testing agency.
As soon as your final, official transcripts, showing all courses complete and if applicable graduation, are available, have them mailed to:
