Multimedia Conference

NSU Multimedia Conference is an annual daylong event that enhances students’ skills and knowledge, and engages them to think critically about issues related to media.  NSU Student Media provides opportunities for high school, community college and NSU students to develop professionally. Students learn from and network with industry experts in the field, such as reporters, editors, producers, filmmakers, social media specialists, photographers, talent, bloggers, broadcasters, educational correspondents, and campus news professionals, to name a few. Join us at the 2017 NSU Multimedia Conference.

About

The 2017 NSU Multimedia Conference will take place January 28, 2017 at Nova Southeastern University’s main campus in Davie.

Seasoned professionals working in the field will facilitate more than 40 sessions on topics related to multimedia, including print journalism, broadcast and film. Other session topics include writing and editing, telling the multimedia story, leadership, improving on-air performance, radio’s place in the new media environment, and much more (see programs). In addition, a number of sessions will focus on finding internships and employment in the field.

Continental breakfast and lunch are included in the $10 conference fee. The fee must accompany your registration. We have a limited number of scholarships, so please contact us if your school is unable to support students in attending.

The conference schedule will be available on our website three weeks prior to the event. In addition, programs will be distributed at registration.
